Its ornate case features striking winged lions (sphinxes or griffins) flanking the dial and a detailed cherub figure at the base. Beneath its decorative exterior lies a high-quality 8-day, time and strike spring brass movement, making it a masterpiece of both American horological engineering and late 19th-century aesthetic design.
