French Carriage Clock
This antique Edwardian carriage clock, retailed by the prestigious London firm Collingwood, dates to approximately 1900. Likely manufactured in France for the British market, the piece features a classic brass case with a hinged handle and beveled glass panels.
It is distinguished by intricate champlevé or cloisonné enamel work, showcasing delicate blue and white floral patterns on the dial and surrounding face. The clock face displays Arabic numerals and ornate hands, reflecting the refined craftsmanship of the era. It is accompanied by its original fitted leather travel case and represents a luxury travel timepiece from the turn of the century.
