This antique baby doll dates to the early 20th century (circa 1909) and originates from Germany. It was crafted by prominent manufacturer Simon & Halbig who were known for their high-quality porcelain work.
The doll features a delicately modeled bisque porcelain head with a realistic matte finish, hand-painted rosy cheeks, and vibrant blue sleep eyes. It typically includes a soft brown wig and an open mouth revealing two tiny teeth. The head is mounted on a jointed composition body, allowing for lifelike posing.
