Bowl with Woman
This elegant Art Nouveau porcelain figural bowl was manufactured by Royal Dux Bohemia in Bohemia, Austria (modern-day Czech Republic). Produced circa 1900, the piece is often attributed to the chief artist Aloïs Hampel.
The design features a graceful female figure seated on the edge of a large, shell-shaped bowl. Crafted from bisque porcelain in a cream ground, it is meticulously detailed with fine gold accents. The style is defined by flowing, naturalistic lines characteristic of the period, creating a sophisticated decorative centerpiece.
