V.V. Phonograph
The Victor Victrola VV-IV phonograph, manufactured by the Victor Talking Machine Company located in Camden, NJ USA, was introduced in 1911. The plate also shows the serial number 152107 and indicates assembly by Frederick Loeser & Co. in Brooklyn, New York.
As the company's first internal-horn table model, it revolutionized home audio by hiding the speaker inside a compact wooden cabinet, typically crafted from oak. This hand-cranked record player operates at 78 rpm and features a distinctive sound control system: opening the small front cabinet doors manually amplifies the music. Its elegant, box-like design remains a hallmark of early 20th-century acoustic engineering and American industrial artistry.
