A beautiful porcelain plaque (Created in 1932) is a hand-painted reproduction of Guido Reni’s 1614 Baroque masterpiece, Aurora. Produced in Germany , it captures the Roman goddess Aurora strewing flowers to herald the dawn. She leads Apollo, seated in his golden chariot, across the sky, accompanied by the Hours and the torch-bearing Phosphorus.

Surrounded by an ornate gilt frame along with its vibrant colors and delicate brushwork, condenses the massive Italian fresco into an intimate, collectible format. There is an inscription on the back "Aurora n Guido Reni - 1932 - A. Hemrich".
